About & Editorial Policy

Crossroads67 is an open-access web directory built on the principle that every catalogued entry deserves a proper filing: a canonical domain name, a subject classification, and a brief descriptive annotation, all held in a consistent register for public consultation. The archive currently holds 840 accessions filed across 22 subject sections, from the broad open stacks of Miscellaneous Holdings to the focused shelves of Dental Practices and Legal Chambers. Each section is maintained as a self-contained finding aid, allowing researchers to narrow their inquiry before browsing individual entries. Submissions are accepted at no charge. Proposers fill in the standard intake form with a site domain and category preference; entries that pass the review process are assigned a shelf position and added to the live register within a reasonable filing period. The project does not charge for inclusion and does not prioritise entries on commercial grounds. Crossroads67 operates as a reference resource rather than a ranking mechanism. Entries appear in intake order, without scoring, weighting, or editorial promotion. Researchers are encouraged to consult the subject index first, then browse the relevant section to locate entries of interest. The archive is maintained on a rolling basis. Section headings are reviewed periodically to ensure the classification scheme remains fit for purpose as new subject areas emerge through the intake process.
